Why Mecklenburg?

Mecklenburg is the key to Democrats winning at the state and federal levels here in North Carolina. It’s the largest county in the state, with over 330,000 registered Democrats, but Democratic turnout here in 2022 was only 45%—well below the statewide average of 51% and a shocking 93rd out of 100 counties. Mecklenburg’s turnout also lagged 13 points behind Wake County. Together, we can change that.

With your help boosting Democratic turnout in Mecklenburg, we could see a net gain of up to 60,000 votes—enough to flip North Carolina blue! As Attorney General Josh Stein says:

“If Mecklenburg Democrats turn out in force, I win; statewide Democratic candidates win; and President Biden carries North Carolina. If Democrats don’t boost turnout here in Mecklenburg, we will lose.”
